  Technology can make a negative impact on your brain, actions, and what you speak. However, it is very useful in communication. Although they bear some important similarities, the differences between communicating through technology and communicating in person are clear.

  Here are some similarities between communicating in person and communicating with technology. Both ways the person is talking whether by spoken or written words. Be careful though, you may get your message across in a bad way, it might sound like bullying or cyberbullying. It is good to talk to people because it will build up your self-esteem. Both ways you can learn something new. One time, my friend texted me about this funny video that I learned, it was so funny! At school, I learn something new all the time, and we talk all the time, whether it’s educational or not. Those were some similarities between when you are communicating through technology rather than communicating in person.

  Although communication in person and communication through technology has some similarities, they also have many differences. Going to a person’s house and talking to them takes a longer amount of time rather than messaging someone. One of my friends, Christopher, he doesn’t have a phone, we wouldn’t talk as much if we didn’t have skype, discord, steam chat, etc. Be careful though, when you talk online it will not be deleted, even on Snapchat. When talking in person, facial expressions and gestures help express your thoughts and feelings. While through technology, it is more difficult to portray your feelings. It is important to use emojis when you text because it will help express your thoughts and feelings. Make sure you don’t use hurtful emojis when texting your friends. Those were some differences between communicating through technology and communicating in person.

  It is very useful using technology when communicating. In conclusion, those were hopefully some good tips to know when communicating in person and communicating through technology.
