Bravery is very important in life. It can do a lot of helpful things. Malala wrote a book called, “I Am Malala” she was a 10 year old Pakistani girl who was very brave because she stood against the Taliban. One reason bravery is important in life because it might stop bullies, and it develops a sense of leadership.
Bullying is a huge problem in society nowadays. We should stand up and be brave, and then that wouldn’t be a problem. The Taliban are a group of people that bomb schools, whip people, and other horrible things. It’s not just bullies, but for instance, the Taliban that you can stop. Over 77% of students have been bullied which is really wrong. She was also shot and miraculously still survived. “After that, everything went black.” As you can see, that was a little about being brave and standing up for people that are being bullied.
Being brave also develops some leadership, and without leadership you wouldn’t know what to do. With that in mind, Malala was a leader, she stood up for women’s rights. For example, Martin Luther King was a bold leader for equal rights for blacks and whites. Some cruel people want to be a leader, so they threaten or shoot, or even kill. “Malala Yousafzai, the Taliban stated, should be killed.”
In that knowledge, those were a few things I thought about how bravery develops a sense of leadership. Bravery, as you read, can help make leaders and destroy bullies. So please be brave, stand up for people. Stand up.
